WILL WYOMING CHOOSE TO RESPECT ALL WILDLIFE OR ALLOW BAD ACTORS TO GET AWAY WITH TORTURE?
I invite everyone to join us either in person or online for the TRW committee meeting on Monday, September 30, where we will witness a pivotal moment in the fight against wildlife abuse in Wyoming. This meeting presents a crucial opportunity for our legislators to take a definitive stand against wildlife torture by potentially adopting a bill that aims to protect our precious animals. It is a moment that calls for our collective attention and advocacy, as we hope our leaders will rise to the occasion and address this pressing issue rather than turning a blind eye. Let us come together to support the cause of compassion and justice for wildlife, ensuring that their well-being is prioritized in our legislative agenda.
If you would like to watch the meeting via YouTube, please click here and choose DETAILS next to the 9/30 – 10/1 meeting and then click AUDIO/VIDEO.
If you are in Cheyenne, you are welcome to join us for a wildlife advocate luncheon. See the flyer below for details.
JH BEAR SOLUTIONS IS WORKING OVERTIME TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITIES SAFE
Bears have been ACTIVE in Teton County as they look for calories to eat ahead of hibernation. Teton County is doing a pretty good job of keeping attractants away from bears but we are still having problems in some areas with overfilled trash cans that aren’t locked. Thanks to Teton County who has begun enforcement and is letting people know that the old cans with the carabiners are no longer compliant as only self-locking cans approved by the IGBC are permitted by regulation.
If you are in need of a bear-resistant trash can, we are here to help! Please don’t hesitate to call and leave a message, and we will ensure that your name is added to our waiting list. Although we are currently out of stock, we are excited to inform you that we have placed an order for more units, which are expected to arrive in just two weeks. The number is on the flyer below.
THANK YOU TO PEOPLE AND CARNIVORES FOR THEIR GENEROUS DONATION TO HELP PURCHASE 100 MORE KODIAK CANS!
We have also been working with the Teton Village Association to distribute the following flyers in the water and sewer bill this coming week. The banner above will be posted at HWY 22 and 390 for the month of October and our A-frame signs have arrived and will be out in communities soon.
