Farmer’s Market Outreach a Great Success

On Saturday, July 22nd, Wyoming Wildlife Advocates was pleased to be the featured non-profit at the Jackson Hole Farmer’s Market on the Town Square!

We had a wonderful time pouring coffee and chatting with locals and visitors alike, and letting them know about the variety of issues that WWA is working on. We handed out lots of educational material, gave away tons of great WWA swag, and even raffled off some limited edition books by local authors. It was a great opportunity to let the Jackson Hole community know a little bit more about what we’ve been working on, and – more importantly – how they can help.

Of course, everyone wanted to snap a photo with the friendliest grizzly bear around!

A big thanks to everyone who stopped by to say good morning, and learned more about the challenges that Wyoming’s wildlife is facing. If you missed us at the market, we hope you’ll stop by and see us at Old Bill’s Fun Run on September 9th. We’ll have the latest updates on important issues like grizzly bear delisting and the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease.
